GLAMIS RV RENTAL AGREEMENT

Cancellation: If you cancel your reservation 8 days prior to your reservation then you can use the reservation deposit for a future date. We cannot issue refunds on deposits or amounts paid for any reason. Less than 1 week you forfeit the entire amount of the reservation.
No refunds for early returns.
Early Returns / Extending Rental Dates: Renter is responsible for looking over the rental contract to ensure that all rental costs and rental dates are correct before they leave on their rental. If renter wishes to extend their rental dates, renter must call the office for approval. There are NO refunds for early returns. If renter does not return on their scheduled return date and has not called our office for approval to extend, renter will be charged additional rental day (s), inconvenience fees, and/or loss of revenue whichever is greater.
Drop off / Pickup times: Drop off time are usually between 1pm and 6pm, if you require a later drop off time please call our office in advance to make arrangements. Pickup times: Regular campgrounds are between 10:30am and 11:00am, Desert locations are between 11:30am and 1:00pm. Please arrange pickup time the day before pickup with your driver.
Operation: Renter accepts responsibility for the care and operation of the unit. Renter is responsible to make sure they know how to operate the rented unit. If renter is unsure how to operate any item in the rented unit please let the driver know before they leave.
Appliances/Operation Items:The A/C, Awning, Radio, Generator, Television, Stove, Microwave etc. are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, compensation may be made at the discretion of management in the form of credit for a future rental, of up to $ 50.00. Please call the office if a break down should occur and we will attempt to correct the problem.
Generator: Some units may come with a generator. Renter is responsible for the generator until the unit is picked up and will be charged if the generator is stolen or damaged, ie: run over by a car, sand put inside the gas tank. Renter is responsible for gasoline for the generator. It’s not advised to run the AC, microwave or TV at the same time. It can overload the circuits and cause a fuse to pop or a circuit breaker to turn off. If any defects or malfunctions should occur please contact us when the problem occurs.
Batteries: Each unit has Deep Cell Batteries. If you are dry camping we recommend you run the generator for at least 3 hours a day to maintain the batteries. We are not responsible for any problems if your batteries run dead. You will need to run the generator to recharge the batteries. If the batteries run dead it can take many hours for a full charge.
Responsibility of unit: Renter acknowledges his responsibility, as bailee, and will hold Rental Company harmless from any and all fines, forfeitures and penalties arising out of any violation of law; that renter shall not be held liable for damages, inconvenience or time last caused by accident, breakdown or malfunctioning of the rental unit. Renter further agrees to hold the Lessor harmless should damages occur to any of renters personal property while carried in, or on, such property including loss or damages caused by fire, water or theft. Lessee further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the rental company from, and against any and all claims for loss of or damage to property or injury to persons (including death) resulting through the use, operation or possession of said unit.
Damages/Claims: Renter shall indemnify and hold harmless Rental Company from any and all claims, costs and damages to the rental vehicle and related equipment, including any loss of use by renter of the vehicle, arising from the operation, maintenance and use of the vehicle during the terms of this lease. If the rental unit is returned with damage while the in possession of the renter, renter is responsible to pay all damage costs whether the renter was at fault or not or if damage was caused by acts of nature (Wind, rain, earthquake, fire, flood, etc). If an accident occurs, renter is responsible for obtaining a police report, contacting the renter's insurance company and contacting a rental agent. The renter (Name on contract) is responsible for all rental costs and any and all damages. Renters with an insurance endorsement will need to go through their insurance company for reimbursement. If damage amounts are substantial and a claim must be submitted, the renter is responsible for any and all damages, loss of revenue, or additional expenses not covered by insurance. Check in time may take up to 2 hours for damage estimating, please allow yourself enough time. Rental Company will estimate the damage and expedite the repairs. Repairs will be done at the Rental Company’s shop of choice.
Unit Availability: We reserve the right to substitute another unit if at time of delivery if the reserved unit is unavailable.
Cleaning: To avoid cleaning fee of $ 49.00 (minimum charge, excessive cleaning is $ 125.00) then the rental unit should be swept out, fridge cleaned, sinks wiped down, tub wiped down and remove any trash and food. Cleaning fees will be billed to the credit card on file.
Awning: If the rental unit has an awning you are responsible for any damages to it. The minimum charge to replace an awing is $ 975.00. It’s not recommended to use an awning any windy conditions.
Smoking and Pet Policy: There is No Smoking in any of the rental units. If the rental unit is returned with the odor of smoke, renter will be charged additional fees to remove the smoke odor from the rental unit. Costs will vary but could be up to $250.00. Pets are allowed in the rental unit as long as the unit is returned the same way renter received it, free of pet hair and pet odor. If cleaning is needed to remove pet hair and pet odor, the renter will be charged an additional cleaning fee. Costs will vary.
Holding Tanks: Rental units are released full of water and sewage tanks empty. You are not required to empty the holding tanks at the time of return. However, if you are dry camping and need the tanks empty during your stay then you will be required to perform your own service at your own expense. Please note that most RV monitors don’t give accurate readings, do not rely on them (use your own judgment).
Toilet: Toilets can easily become clogged when you use too much toilet paper. We are not responsible for any clogs. A fee of $ 25.00 will be charged to remove any clogs when the rental is returned. If you have any questions on how to use the toilet please ask your driver when your unit is dropped off.
Promises: RV’s are not a Hotel, Motel or a Condominium. Keep in mind that these are RV Rentals. Our goal is to enhance your camping experience and provide shelter from the great outdoors. We cannot offer any discounts or refunds for any reason.
Propane: We have included one tank of propane for your stay. If you require any additional propane during your stay you will be required to service it on your own at your expense.
What to bring: Please bring any and all items you require during your stay.
Keys: Lost keys will result in a $ 25.00 charge to the credit card on file.
Method of payment: We will bill the credit card on file unless you notify us below of a different card to use. You agree that all charges will be billed to the credit card designated by you when the reservation was made and that your signature on the Rental Agreement will be deemed to have been made on the applicable credit card voucher.
Collections: All charges, fees, fines and expenses, including payment for loss or damage to the rental unit, are due at our demand. If you do not pay all charges when due, you agree to pay a late charge of the lesser of 1-1/2% per month on the past due balance, if permitted by law. Otherwise you will pay the highest interest rate permitted by law. You will pay any collection costs, including a service charge for any check that is not honored by a financial institution and our reasonable attorney’s fees. If you fail to pay any indebtedness to us in full you understand that we may report such deficiency to an appropriate credit reporting agency.
Acknowledgement/Agreement: Renter acknowledges that he enters into this contract with full understanding of all terms and conditions. That this agreement contains the entire understanding between the parties hereto and no other representations or inducements, verbal or mitten, has been made which is not set forth herein.
